Job Description:

SUMMARY/POSITION OVERVIEW

 *This IS NOT a remote position

**PORTFOLIO IS REQUIRED to apply

Uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce creative visual materials for network promotions, show promotions and sales materials.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Work with Creative Director and others to conceptualize, produce, and administer graphic design for Promotions Packages, Feature Films, Social Media, and Sales Materials.
  • Maintain consistent brand identity by working closely with the Marketing, Creative and Programming departments for the networks.
  • Provide project timeline estimates, as necessary, associated with various presentations.
  • Adhere to production timetables, staying on track with milestones and deadlines.
  • Research latest technology and style trends and provide insight and direction for how to reach the segmented audience.
  • Responsibility to follow through on assigned design projects and associated elements, with emphasis being placed on timely and thorough execution from development to production.
  • Design, layout and format art to meet required specifications.
  • Follow Creative departments set standards and guidelines.

Experience and Skills:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education:

  • Associate degree or equivalent relevant work experience. Preferred majors include BFA, or diplomas concentrated in areas of graphic design or communication design.

Experience:

  • Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in the design industry
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of the television/web/social industry is a plus.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong technical and artistic design abilities are a must - portfolio required.
  • Ability to work independently and interact effectively with Marketing team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
