Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Organizational Development and supporting the Executive Vice President of Organizational Development, the Learning & Development Specialist will manage administrative and operational tasks related to the development of our Human Capital.


Operational Responsibilities:

- Support the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of INSP’s learning and development programming - INSP University - with the goal to:

  • Provide quality trainings designed to increase individual and organizational productivity and enrichment.
  • Provide development opportunities that enhance knowledge, develop competencies, and enrich the organization.
  • Create, promote, and foster an organizational environment that values development and growth opportunities for all employees.
  • Provide individuals and the organization with the tools to respond effectively to stakeholder needs as well as current and future demands of the Media & Technology industry.
  • Provide ongoing leadership and support to the organization’s succession efforts.
  • Promote, support, and leverage Human Capital and technical tools to improve and enhance workflow efficiency and improve stakeholder experience.


- Support the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of INSP’s Leadership Lecture Series with the goal to:

  • Provide quality instruction that expands and/or supplements INSP University’s course offerings.
  • Provide an informative and engaging series of lectures hosted by industry leaders in a variety of leadership topics.
  • Promote a culture of continual learning and development among INSP employees.
  • Engage employees with a learning opportunity available on-demand at the employee’s convenience.


- Host and/or Co-Host INSP’s New Employee Onboarding Experience through INSP’s 4-I approach:

  • Impression - affirm the new employee’s decision to join INSP.
  • Introduction - Build the new employee’s understanding of the organization and Organizational Culture.
  • Integration - Ensure that the new employee understands their role, how they contribute to their team, and how their team adds value to the organization.
  • Immersion - Build the new employee’s knowledge of the functions, processes, and competencies required for success in their role.


Administrative Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to the Organizational Development team by accurately preparing and distributing materials and documentation for INSP University, New Employee Onboarding, and various other Organizational Development related tasks.

- Act as a backup to the Director of Organizational Development fielding questions and/or issues from employees and working to find a resolution in a timely manner.

- Develop reports, evaluations, and data to support the decision-making process for Organizational Development projects.

- Support the Executive Vice President and Director of Organizational Development in various administrative tasks as necessary.

Experience and Skills:

Job Specification

- Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 1-3 years of leadership development experience required.
  • 1-3 years of project management experience preferred.
  • Experience hosting workshops and speaking in front of large groups.
