An Associate Producer has 2-3 years of experience, or comparable education, in video editing, production, and creative project management. This position works within the Creative Marketing & Promotion team to support the creative staff by organizing projects and task details within Workfront and other work-order systems and helping to facilitate video projects through the finishing workflow for distribution. The candidate has a firm understanding of digital video, videography, editorial technologies and media asset organization with demonstrated creative skills in writing and editing short-form entertainment promotions or web content. The position will also assist as needed with creative shoots, writing, producing and editing select reels, promos and web content for INSP and INSP films. The person in this position is a self-starter and will complete assigned projects on-time with minimal supervision. In addition, they are organized, detail oriented, have strong verbal and written communication skills, strong listening skills and can maintain multiple tasks. They work well with others, are a team player and are eager to participate in creative discussions in order to learn and grow within a creative department. This position reports to Director of Creative Operations.


  • Work with finishing editors and management to properly organize, finish, version out and deliver spots for on-air distribution.
  • View, log, create and organize video select reels for INSP shows and films to help facilitate editorial projects.
  • Create and maintain department projects within Workfront, and update daily and weekly reports for department workflows and initiatives.
  • Work with our Creative Directors to help coordinate shoots, including procuring equipment, booking locations and coordinating talent.
  • Work with the digital and social teams to help coordinate, conceptualize and execute digital platform marketing campaigns.
  • Write, produce and edit on-air promos and social content as needed.
  • Work with the VP of Creative, Creative Directors and Director of Creative Operations to grow your skillset and learn how to conceptualize and produce sales and marketing videos, promos and social content for a cable network.
  • Direct voice talent during script readings.
  • Ability to independently develop, pitch and implement more streamlined production processes in order to increase department productivity.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming meetings and activities, bringing ideas to the table with the ability to type and organize meeting notes for distribution.
  • Participate in planning and production of on-air activities for INSP networks, including episodic promos, image spots, bumpers and tune-ins as needed.
  • Assist Senior Media Asset Specialist in coordinating asset taxonomy compliance and delivery.

Experience and Skills:


  • College degree or work experience in video production.
  • Must have working knowledge of production and post-production processes using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other Creative Cloud applications.
  • Ability to learn and utilize web or software-based work order systems such as Workfront.
  • The ability to follow through on assigned promotions projects and associated elements, with emphasis being placed on timely and thorough execution from development through production.
  • Strong writing, typing, listening and creative thinking skills.
  • Experience with Adobe Workfront or other project-management software is a plus.
