Job Description:
SUMMARY/POSITION OVERVIEW
This position requires someone able to handle multiple
responsibilities in an organized way. You will be involved in a
wide range of interesting and creative projects across the
Distribution & Consumer Marketing teams.
The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
and maintain strong attention to detail. The role will support VP,
Distribution & Consumer Marketing. The role is divided into two
main buckets: The first bucket, the primary focus of the role, would
be focused on campaign and event support for both teams, inclusive
of budget planning/reconciliation and analytics. The other portion
(20% of your time) would be centered around administrative
assistance. Administrative duties could include: ordering office
supplies, setting key meetings, reconciling work related receipts
and expenditures and occasionally make travel arrangements for VP of
the department.
This position reports to VP, Distribution & Consumer Marketing.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
Distribution & Consumer Marketing Responsibilities

INSP Monthly Affiliate Promotion:
§
Collect and verify affidavits in a timely manner
§
Assign points based on affidavits
§
Order prizing
*
Assist with the development of trade show and consumer/client
event tactics:
§
Brainstorming ideas
§
Securing bids
§
Shipping of materials and ensuring arrival
*
Submit creative requestions for assigned projects
§
Sales decks
§
One-sheets
§
Mailers
§
Premiums
*
Assist in the development and execution of campaigns and pitch decks
§
Brainstorm
§
Research
§
Secure bids
§
Pitch presentation documents
*
Ownership of the premium program (premiums are used by the
sales team as client gifts and/or items given away at consumer events)
§
Identify new items needed, place reorders
§
INSP store management (alerting sales team to new items
available, posting in the online store, inventory)
§
Secure bids

Support the Consumer Marketing team with specific tasks
related to the execution of campaigns in partnership with our
agency
§
Upload creative assets and copy to agency and vendor partners
as assigned, confirming delivery and integrity of the files
§
Document and save out all creative assets, decks and recaps
§
Provide agency and team with updates to programming schedule
§
Creation of workflow documents
Administrative Responsibilities

Create and maintain admin files as needed
*
Maintain office supplies for the team
*
Manage the VP calendar
*
Approve timesheets
*
Prepare vendor invoices for VP approval and expense reports
for the team
*
Take detailed notes in meetings that they attend and recap the
entire group via email from those meetings with action/next steps
*
Assist with the annual budget planning presentation
Other Responsibilities
*
Seek to understand the industry and emerging trends within the
industry and the INSP audience
*
Establish relationships with peers across internal
departments such as Production, Programming, Press, Ad Sales,
Legal, Finance, etc.
*
Act as brand and company ambassador at all times
*
Manage budgets for your assigned projections - coming in, on,
or under budget
*
Regular and timely recaps on all projects
*
Attend meetings (internal/external) as needed and represent
the interests of INSP Distribution & Consumer Marketing
*
Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with internal
departments such as Production, Programming, Press, Ad Sales,
Legal, Finance, etc.
