Job Description:



The Manager of Digital Media Technology is a hands-on manager role reporting to the VP of Engineering and Information Technology. This person will supervise and work with technicians and will be responsible for coordinating activities with Information Technology and Media Operations in design and support of corporate post production and digital asset management systems. The Manager of Digital Media Technology must be a person who thrives on self-directed learning and tackling new challenges. This employee will be building and streamlining digital media workflows and creating system-wide policies in support of new distribution opportunities.





  • Collaborate with Information and Broadcast Technology groups for planning, implementation, and support of digital media production and asset management systems.
  • Work closely with the operations digital media team to create, test, and support digital media and information workflows within a corporate governance plan.
  • Provide resolution of user issues reported directly or by escalation.
  • Prepare bills of materials and budgets for project designs.
  • System administration of an OU subordinate to the corporate IT domain.
  • User administration of digital asset management and workflow systems.
  • Prepare and maintain policies and system documentation.

Experience and Skills:


  • BS degree in areas of study that will provide a foundation for information and media technology design and support.
  • 5 years technology design and support for an organization involved in video production and media asset management.
  • 3 years supporting post production systems and workflows (hands on editing experience with Adobe Premiere preferred).
  • 2 years supporting digital media workflow technologies.
  • Experienced as a key player in a digital asset management project with power user experience in a major DAM/MAM technology product.
  • Expert in digital media technologies, specifically a/v standards, codecs and workflow processes.
  • Strong IT skillset with system administrator experience and LDAP/AD expertise.
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications preferred.
  • A passion for high quality work.
  • An "out-front" personality with a passion for solving user facing issues.
  • Team Player who is constantly exploring new technology solutions.
  • Excellent prioritization, logical analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Proactive communicator possessing excellent written and verbal skills.
