Job Description:

SUMMARY/POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is vital for INSP’s continued growth in the national ad sales business and to meet and exceed budget goals. This position manages a list of General Market Agencies with the focus of developing new and incremental revenue for INSP. This position requires solid relationships throughout the ad sales media community and the continued positioning of INSP to gain market share.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Oversee a list of General Market ad agencies for INSP.
* Manage relationships with media planners and buyers.
* Responsible for developing new business at both the client direct and agency level.
* Responsible for meeting and exceeding short form revenue on the network.
* Assist in developing sponsorship sales for INSP’s slate of Original Programming

Experience and Skills:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:
* Bachelor of Science or related fields preferred

Experience:
* 3-5 years of Sales experience preferred
* Deep relationships with national ad agencies and client level contacts
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Applied understanding of all qualitative and quantitative media research
* Network Cable or Broadcast Network experience is required.

Skills/Abilities:
* Strong negotiating and relationship building skills
* Strong presentation skills are paramount to this position
* Relationships within the national planning and buying community are vital
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at the same time
* Ability to present INSP’s value proposition to senior level executives within the Media Community.
* Detail oriented, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
