Summary/Position Overview

Creative, analytical professional with attention to detail, whose skills provide INSP and its Worldwide Distribution team, information from its database to reach their subscriber goals. Under the direction of the Database Manager, this individual would create, develop, research, market and maintain important information to the marketing and sales team.

Reporting Relationships

  • Reports to the Database Manager
  • Receives assignments from the Database Manager and Senior Vice President of Distribution
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Report Development: Utilizing Database, an understanding of the database and under the direction of the Database Manager, this person’s primary focus is creating reports from data into concise, meaningful reports for senior management and the Distribution team.

Documentation & Training: Create and maintain documentation for those processes and reports; develop and train users in their usage and creation.

Data Research: Ensure the integrity of the database, identify potential areas of concern and work with VPs of Distribution to find prospects and distribution opportunities.

Conversion Coordination: Develop an ongoing means of converting existing worksheet into import templates for Medea.

Creative Awareness: Full understanding of the scope of reporting challenges and awareness of what can be done to improve and implement. Create sales tools based on data in Medea to provide leverage in sales calls with MSOs, including carriage maps showing market presence and organizational charts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree desired, however an Associate’s degree will be considered

  • 1-4 years of demonstrated work experience in file and database structure as well as report design
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Ability to work with people at all organizational levels
  • Creative thinking
  • Team Player
  • Ability to formally document and train users
  • Proficiency in Medea
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
