Job Description:

SUMMARY/POSITION OVERVIEW

Distribution Marketing supports the distribution team (the distribution team secures network carriage on platforms like Time Warner cable, DIRECTV, XFINITY, etc. and supports our alternative distribution efforts inclusive of DVD sales and digital - ie Hulu, iTunes, etc.) by leveraging programming, ratings and partnership marketing opportunities to increase distribution, maintain current subscriber counts and raise the visibility of INSP with clients and consumers.

The Distribution Marketing Coordinator manages the daily activities as it pertains to assigned projects and campaigns. We educate affiliates and consumers about the INSP brand while ensuring brand integrity at all times.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Responsible for the INSP Monthly Affiliate Promotion to secure media
-Working with the VP to set the strategy
-Working with Creative to develop all campaign materials and ensuring materials are uploaded in a timely manner
-Communicating opportunities as it pertains to clients
-Regular and on-going recap of promotion
* Assisting the Manager/Director with the development and execution of trade show strategy
-Brainstorming ideas
-Securing bids
-Assisting onsite as needed
* Development of affiliate materials (not limited to)
-Sales decks
-One-sheets
-Mailers
* Assist in the development of pitch decks
-Brainstorm
-Research
-Secure bids
-Marketing ideas to support a launch
* Develop and successfully execute consumer events
* Attend meetings (internal/external) as needed and represent the interests of Distribution Marketing and World Wide Distribution
* Track and seek to understand the industry and emerging trends within the industry and the INSP audience
* Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with internal departments such as Production, Programming, Press, Ad Sales, Legal, Finance, etc.
* Act as brand and company ambassador at all times

Experience and Skills:

JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Proficiency in and working knowledge of relevant professional concepts and related processes
* Implements assigned projects independently with guidance from senior staff
* Detail oriented and very organized
* Strong initiative, ambition and work ethic
* Strong decision making and problem solving stills
* Ability to work with the and garner "buy in" at all levels of the organization
* Ability to thrive under pressure and handle tight deadlines
* Effective at managing and developing others (team assistant and intern)

* Ability to adapt and accept change within the department and organization
* Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Powerpoint
* A love of entertainment and television
* Ability to travel when needed (up to 10%)
* Ability to lift boxes/packages up to 30 lbs.

EDUCATION:
* College graduate. Preferred majors: marketing, communications, journalism or business administration

EXPERIENCE:
* 2+ years of related experience

PREFERRED:
* Working knowledge of the cable industry
* Social media and technology savvy
* Working knowledge of Keynote, Wordpress and Photoshop/Illustrator
* Keen eye for design and copy
* An out-going personality
